得意中華食品創辦人林琮隆、陳秀卿夫婦，以五千元創業，於1993年開始在高雄十全夜市擺攤做滷味生意。早期因所販售的產品風味獨特，往往供不應求，前往嘗鮮的饕客如雲，因此在滷味界造就佳績，就連同業也爭相訂貨。
從夜市攤販一路走到外銷食品加工認證廠，一路感恩政府輔導，而得意中華的同仁大都是在地的婦女所組合而成，讓海外華僑吃了一口得意中華的滷味而感動流淚，因為這讓他想起了家鄉媽媽的拿手好菜跟一鍋滷味。
廠內的婦女們用呵護疼愛孩子的心情，製作給孩子最好的美食。使用在地的食材，僱用在地的婦女，運用現代的技術，流傳在地的味道，得意中華是您隨手可得的安心味道。
