In 2026, 🌍 highlights the theme “Our Power, Our Planet” — a shared responsibility to advance renewable solutions and build a more sustainable future.

While global efforts focus on clean energy, sustainability in healthcare also extends to the materials and systems used in everyday clinical practice.

GaleMed is proud to announce that we have achieved certification, strengthening our commitment to responsible material sourcing and supply chain transparency.

As the healthcare industry continues to rely on single-use medical devices, sustainability is no longer a standalone topic — it is increasingly tied to supply chain resilience.
Ongoing fluctuations in fossil fuel-based plastic prices are also creating new challenges for cost stability and procurement planning.

With BioVent-Circuit®, which incorporates sugarcane-based materials, GaleMed is moving toward a more forward-looking material strategy.
By using sugarcane-derived ethanol in place of fossil fuel-based feedstocks, BioVent-Circuit® helps reduce the CO₂ footprint during the manufacturing stage, while offering a more stable material pathway with potential cost advantages.
