#研石造物2026 🪨

Hands remain essential in the making of objects.
In craft, each piece emerges through processes shaped by many hands.

Even within systems of efficiency, human involvement persists—through observation, touch, and adjustment.

Through this, objects retain variation and responsiveness.
Making, then, extends beyond production.


能夠創造物件的雙手,始終具有一種難以取代的吸引力。

每一件物件的生成,往往來自多重工序與不同角色的協同運作,尤其在手工藝之中,更是由多雙手共同完成的結果。

即使在歷經數次工業革命之後,生產工具不斷提升效率,WÈI CRAFT 仍然認為,「人」始終是不可取代的存在。
透過觀察、觸摸與即時的判斷,人在操作工具的過程中持續進行微調,使物件在製作之中保有細微差異與回應。

這樣的介入,不僅是技術層面的控制,更是一種使物件得以被賦予感知與生命的過程。

在當代與未來的製作體系中,這樣的角色,仍將持續存在,並不可被取代。

#研石造物2026 🪨

WÈI CRAFT explores the dialogue between materials—each shaped by its own constraints, processes, and language.

Leather, in contrast, forms through a softer, fibrous structure, where shape emerges through tension, response, and touch.

Between these two material logics, how might structure, tactility, and use be redefined through their intersection?


在成為皮革工藝的實踐者之後,WÈI CRAFT 開始將關注延伸至不同材質之間的差異與可能性。
每一種材料都有其獨特的限制與語言,而某些材質的生成與加工過程,並非日常所能輕易接觸。

在「研石造物」參訪行程的過程中,我們得以一窺石材從開採、運輸、分切,到鑽孔、CNC、車床、水刀等加工技術,再到最終的倒角與拋光。石料在每一個階段都仰賴不同的機具與工序,同時也因其天然紋理的不可預測性,在加工過程中伴隨著高比例的損耗與風險。

這樣的製作邏輯,與皮革工藝中對材料纖維與結構的回應,形成一種截然不同卻同樣精細的關係。

也正因為這次經驗,WÈI CRAFT 開始思考:
當柔軟的皮革與堅硬的石材相遇時,是否能在結構、觸感與使用方式之間,開展出新的連結與可能。

┆ Sequence Leather Incense Holder ┆

Rising from a single vertical plane, the Sequence incense holder arcs into an inclined surface, eventually extending into a serene corridor of space.

Within this space, named Sequence, the quiet interaction between the object and its companion gradually unfolds.

序 香座 由一立面拔地而起,頂端緩緩彎曲,延入斜面,最終沒入一段靜謐而修長的廊道。

「取、燃、立、聞、熄」
伴物者與香的互動,在名為「序」的空間裡徐徐展開。


Each curve is shaped through repeated hand wet-molding, pushing the boundaries of contemporary craftsmanship.

Under the artisan’s ( ) pressure, leather gradually conforms, yielding precise yet gentle lines.

The unrepeatable curves and proportions embody the disciplined logic of the Architect, while preserving the tactile warmth of handcrafted leather.

序 香座 每一道彎折都經過工藝師反覆濕塑、手工定型,推向當代革工藝的極致。皮革在掌壓間逐漸服貼,形成精確而溫潤的線條。

這份難以複製的弧度與比例,使作品在嚴謹秩序中,仍保有雙手真實的觸感。


The Sequence Leather Incense Holder includes a complimentary tube of Taiwanese-made incense.

Crafted by a sixth-generation incense maker, the incense is produced using 150-year-old traditional techniques and natural aromatic materials.

香座隨附精選的臺灣製線香。
香氣的出處,源自於在地第六代製香師的工藝( ),沿用了一百五十年的傳統工法與天然香材進行精心鞣製。

◟ Narrative Scheme ◞

At WÈI CRAFT, every creation begins with a narrative character — a persona whose habits, temperament, and sense of time and space shape the object’s form and purpose.

Each piece appears as if it naturally belongs in the character’s life, quietly responding to daily rhythms and recording the passage of time.

This relationship embodies WÈI CRAFT’s philosophy of The Object’s Companion and forms the foundation of WÈI CRAFT’s Narrative Scheme.


◟ 敘 ​事 計 畫 ◞

在 WÈI CRAFT,每一項創作皆從一個敘事角色展開。
這個角色擁有獨特的習慣、氣質與所處的時空,而正是這些特質塑造了物件存在的理由與外觀形式。

角色同時是故事的存在,也是每件作品內外邏輯的核心。
每件作品都像一扇窺見角色生活世界的縫隙,讓人感受到:「在這個人家中,這樣的物件會自然地存在。」

當這些角色衍生出的物件進入伴物者的生活,物件與日常節奏共振,承接生活記憶,並隨時間逐漸熟成。
這樣的互動,不僅實現了 WÈI CRAFT 的伴物哲學,也構築了品牌敘事計畫的核心框架。
