Creating Values before starting the Negotiating :
Sources of value creation : value creation in negotiation requires finding uncommon ground, areas in which the parties have differing preferences or perceptions. These include possible differences in:
A/1. Valuation. People’s need for a particular item or service may differ, as may their resources. For example, if someone likes the antique clock that she owns, but another person absolutely loves it, having the latter buy it should leave both better off.

B/1. Time horizon. Countless loans are made every day between borrowers who don’t have cash on hand for a new home or car, but who are willing to pay installments, including interest over time...

C/1. Expectations. Deals are easy when an owner of an asset thinks its value has peaked and finds a buyer who is convinced its worth will continue to grow. Basically, that’s a case of a pessimist selling to an optimist. It’s even possible for an optimist to sell to a pessimist, if a contingency clause is included, adjusting the ultimate deal depending on performance.

D/1. Risk tolerance. Parties may share the same expectations for the future, yet still make a successful deal if one of them is more willing to bear the risk than the other. Working Hard ? or working Smart ?
Working Hard or Working Smart?
The main question is that if you know the answer to it , it will totally change your life towards a happy life ,healthy and positive.
Answers are not always difficult and complicated, some answers to our questions are easy, short and simple .
Also choices in our life , do not choose to always challenge, , do not choose a difficult task to fight to win , why not choose the simple task, then go to the next one and to the next one.
Any task or job in the world, it contains a lot of duties ,actions to make, do not such a job or task as bulk , break it into pieces , small parts , each part is your task or a job to complete, then go to the next piece and so on.
Such as if you have a big stone weighing 100 kg , in order to move it out from your yard, you can just break it into small pieces and start to carry every small piece until the yard is clean.

Working hard will create a negative impact on your physical health, pressure on heart, brain and mood. And years after years you will find yourself visiting doctors and hospitals very frequently .
So whatever you earn by working hard, you will end up paying your savings to doctors and hospitals.
Do not be deceived by the media where you need to work hard to be successful and distinguished among your work mate and earn more and more money, this is endless road, once you reach to highest level, then you are burned and exhausted, you will be replaced with a new freshman or girl to fill your position until then reach the same point where you reached before, and so on,,endless circle.

Invested, work smart , enjoy your day , feel the day, feel your work mates, make a friends in the office, the task you can not finish it today, you will try to finish it tomorrow ,after working hours, no meeting, no need to meet clients or your Boss out of office, you have done your 8 daily hours of work , now it is your time after office, your family time, go out with friends, or simply go home eat, watch TV, play with your kid, talk to your wife ,ignore any business call , never work on weekends , never discuss business out of office, walk in nature ,ride bicycle ,swim , it is totally your private life that your boss will not pay for it.

If you work smart, you live longer, healthy, happy, with tied family, and safe old age to enjoy your life after retirement.

Although I graduated as a Technical Mining Engineer , my passion was and still is sales and business development.
The satisfaction and the great feeling I have after closing a deal , or even putting a strategic plan to win a project , or winning a bid , or selling products and services is such a nice feeling , it is the feeling of winning , feeling of glory and sure feeling of confidence.

In sales and business development , the best part is the initial part , when starting a new plan to focus on developing the business and prepare data about the markets , and the potential clients.

In business development and sales , most likely you are dealing with people who might be engineers, or purchasers,or investors .
I find it so challenging for each case, how to study the person I am going to deal with. It is a totally mathematical process , it is science with a GOD blessing and a bit of luck.

In sales and business development , talk little and listen more. Create an eye contacts always,
Create soft talks , be polite , and be proud and humble at the same time , do not play too smart,and always listen between the lines .

Do not categorize your client as weak or strong, or he dieing in need of you or not , think of your client as a friend who is in need of help and you can be there for him, simply represent yourself and the product as a HELPING tool.

As I learn from my experience , the sales and business development process is totally mathematics formulas only .

In my opinion , the insurance salesperson is a good example where the business developing does create new solid contacts to support the insurance different products that goes from life insurance to car, house, business insurance and so on.

The insurance business contains products that are hard to sell ,it contains agreements where only can be used when the client is at risk and or something wrong happened to him (car got fired, accident . house stolen ,gold stolen , business bankruptcy and so on ), so basically you are buying a product today that maybe you will or will not use it in future.

Therefore, you will find the sales person in insurance companies do focus on developing a side business where he can provide many services to their clients and to the potential clients who might buy his company insurance in near future , you will find the salesman storing many contacts in his pocket that goes from dental, to car maintenance ,to house cleaning ,to business guard companies ,to shops selling mobiles with good prices and good services ,and any other business sectors you might think of, they know the best restaurants , a good coffee shops .
All these contacts the insurance salesman have just to provide the easy and quick services to his clients and to whom might be a future buyer, just to gain their trust and satisfactions.

And this is so called (developing a business ) to support selling the company products.

I remember few years ago i had a serious pain in my teeth on Friday afternoon, and the pain was so hard that i decided to go and walk in at any dental clinic to fix my pain b y removing the tooth it self ,i visited 3 clinics located nearby ,and the three clinics apologized for me as they are busy and advised me with a next visit on Monday, but i could not wait any longer.
I remembered my insurance guy (provided me with life insurance agreement) that he might a good help for me, and it took me a call and asked him for help ,the insurance salesman suggested to me a clinic 20 minutes a way by train and told me just to go to that dental clinic, walk in and mention his name to receive a quick treatment, and that is what happened, as i entered the clinic and with in 5 minutes the doctor removed my painful tooth ,and asked me to give his regards to the salesman at the insurance company.
I will never forget such service, simply the salesman gained my trust.

Business support team can create a side business that can support the sales team to
Concluding the different deals is easy .
Let us look at the car manufacturers, the car manufacturer profit on each car is not that
Much worth to cover the cost of design and efforts to manufacture the car itself,
The car manufacturer count on spare parts after sale,and the maintenance workshops where
The manufacturer can make the real profits.

I had a client before who was running an interior contracting company.
My client was facing a big trouble to receive a new project continuously due to the hard
Competition in the market.
My suggestion was , do not touch the prices and do not low your work quality,inested
You should add and create a new services where it can support the main business of the
Company.

I manage to develop my client business by :
1.Adding the services of first year maintenance free.
2.Adding a new service contract for the upcoming 5 years to do regular
Maintenance every year with a minimal amount.
3.Selling a membership to provide materials and simple tools to keep the flooring,ceiling,window and doors clean.

My client business jumped up five time with more profit from the developed services.
