Automotive display backlight modules are continuously exposed to vibration while a vehicle is in motion. Repeated contact and friction between optical layers may cause diffuser films to wear and generate particles or debris.

These particles can become trapped within the backlight structure, potentially scratching light guide plates or damaging the microstructures of prism films, resulting in visible optical defects and reduced long-term reliability.
