Where does the Journey Begin?
Everything begins with an idea…. But how do you generate the idea?
There are many ways to tap your idea but the most ideal one is to turn your hobbies into business. You enjoy doing what you love most.
Unfortunately some do not even have hobbies, No need to worry lets walk together. You can copy BUT not paste. Copy a simple business from every local market.
You will always find Tomato sellers in every local market. Let’s copy this as an idea and not the business just to explain why not paste.
The idea is to sell tomatoes
Step 1: Become more innovative through the Distribution chain. (Ask yourself the following question)
1. Where are these tomatoes grown?
2. Are any chemicals used while growing the tomatoes? If yes Change the business by looking for organically grown tomatoes (Niche)
3. Are you in a position to start your own small organic farm? If so the better, this is because you must differentiate your business
4. How are the tomatoes packed in the local market to maintain cleanliness? Find a better way to pack your goods.
( Packaging)
5. How does the local market deliver the goods to the customers? You could decide to do door to door. ( Delivery and convenience)
6. Does the local market label the packaging giving a description of their goods and contact? Design A label
( Branding)
**** Remember to find out the culture and its trends….. Are the prospective clients more concerned about their health other than cost…. If so we are good to go
Clients buy value and not the goods. That’s why a cup of coffee in a restaurant could go for $2 and the same in a different hotel cost $30.
