Awareness Training on the New Tanzania Chamber Portal System on 11th august 2026.

Tanzania National Chamber of Commerce Arusha regional chapter (TNCC Arusha) together with TNCC Tanzania , in collaboration with the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) at Namanga Border Post conducted an awareness training on the new Tanzania Chamber Portal system (TCP). The training was held at the Namanga One Stop Border Post and brought together clearing and forwarding agencies operating at the border. The sessions aimed to introduce participants to the new portal system, enhance their understanding of its functionalities and support smooth adoption and effective use of the system in facilitating trade and business processes.

The training also provided an opportunity for participants to raise questions, share experiences and receive practical guidance on using the new Tanzania Chamber Portal System.

TNCC Arusha appreciates the collaboration and support provided by TRA Namanga Border Post in making the awareness training successful.

TNCC Arusha in collaboration with Arusha district council brought together the private sector and government for an open dialogue on the business environment in a business council meeting.

Our members shared real challenges on policy gaps and bylaws affecting day-to-day operations. In response, government officials provided clarity on compliance requirements and unveiled new investment opportunities available in Arusha district.

MEDA Country Director pays a visit to TNCC Arusha

The meeting focused on tracking progress of our project in Karatu and discussing the impact of capacity building initiatives on TNCC Arusha staff in areas of resources mobilization, lobbying and advocacy and member recruitment and retention.
