Objectives of ABIG
(i) To deal with agricultural activities including farming for crop production and acquiring produce from farmers and finding markets for the farm produce. (ii) Carrying out agro-processing of various farm produce for value addition for local and international markets. (iii) Doing agricultural research with the purpose of opportunity identification and technology innovation. (iv) Dealing with livestock keeping including poultry and related products. (v) Dealing with aquaculture and fisheries and related products and services. (vi) Creating employments for youths and women groups. (vii) Setting example and changing the mindset of Tanzanians towards self-employment. (viii) Making available the use of ICT and modern technology in agribusiness to all farmers. (ix) Dealing with farm produce transportation from the field to destination where are needed for commercial purpose. (x) Offering training to farmers on how to grow agribusiness and marketing channels also encouraging youths to form joint business ventures and supporting capital startup.
