In our quest to scale our business, Consumers Choice Ltd (Tanzania) was in January 2022 inducted into the PFAN Programme where high-potential climate and clean energy companies in emerging markets, are selected and offered business coaching and investment facilitation. The principle aim of this programme is to bring entrepreneurs with potential investors together. But before that happens, PFAN ensure that the entrepreneur company is "investor ready". Often Entrepreneurs simply may lack the connections to find investment, or may be unsure of what investors look for in a business plan.
And on the other hand, Investors may find it difficult to assess investment opportunities in markets they are not familiar with.
PFAN bridges this gap by helping entrepreneurs build their business plans and present them in a language which investors will understand and be interested in.
Last week, our PFAN appointed Financial Advisor, Mr. George Maina Theuri paid a 3-day visit to our offices in Dar-es-Salaam. He was here to understand our daily working operations, our business models and financial structure. We are very elated to have been inducted into this programme and are fast working our way to getting "investor ready".

On the 26th November 2020, the UNIDO Tanzania Country Representative Mr. Stephen Bainous Kargbo and his Team in the Energy Department, TIB Investment Bank lead by Dr. Hildebrand Shayo the Head of Economic Research & Strategic Planning and Kenneth who represents TIB in the PMU, visited the CCL Dar-es-Salaam offices and later made a tour of the ethanol bottling plant and stove assembly unit. The visit was hailed to be successful, and a lot of very positive discussions were made on the future of CCL in the promotion of ethanol stoves and fuel in the country and beyond.
