Two Milestones, One Commitment to Tanzania.

Last week, Barrick Tanzania celebrated two major milestones that reflect our continued partnership with the Government of Tanzania and our commitment to supporting the country’s economic growth.

🏆 Barrick Tanzania was recognised as Tanzania’s leading taxpayer in the mining sector for FY 2024/25, receiving the Presidential Taxpayers’ Award at the Tanzania Revenue Authority’s 30th anniversary gala in Dar es Salaam.

💰 Barrick Tanzania also delivered a record TZS 221.9 billion dividend to the Government of Tanzania on Dividend Day 2026 through Twiga Minerals, our joint venture partnership with the Government of Tanzania. This was the largest dividend contribution received from any state-partnered enterprise for the period, and our highest-ever contribution, up from TZS 93.6 billion the year before.

Both milestones were presented by H.E. President Samia Suluhu Hassan.

Proud to keep delivering for Tanzania. ⛏️

A moment worth revisiting.

A few months on from Mining Indaba 2026, this captures Barrick at the heart of one of the industry’s most important conversations in Africa.

From strong, consistent branding to the energy on the ground, it reflects how we show up — with purpose, with pride, and with a clear role in shaping the future of mining on the continent.

Proud of the team behind this presence, and the standard we continue to build on.

🌍 Today, on World Day for Safety and Health at Work, we are reminded that preventing harm starts before an incident happens.

This year’s theme focuses on healthy psychosocial working environments — including workload, stress, communication and support at work.

At Barrick, this means creating workplaces where people feel supported, where communication is clear, and where everyone has the confidence to speak up when something does not feel right.

👷 At every site, on every shift, we all have a role to play:

▪️ 🛑 Stop it when something feels wrong.
▪️ 🤔 Think it through before work continues.
▪️ 🛠️ Fix it before anyone gets hurt.

🤝 Every employee and contractor has the right and responsibility to stop unsafe work — and every person deserves to be supported when they do.

🌍 World Malaria Day 2026 | Protecting the Next Generation

Sometimes, the most important messages are the simplest ones—especially for our children.

Malaria is preventable, and understanding how to stay safe can make all the difference.

This World Malaria Day, we encourage you to watch and share this video with your children and families, and talk about simple actions that can save lives:

🛏️ Sleep under a mosquito net
🦟 Avoid mosquito bites
🤒 Speak up when you feel sick
💧 Keep your surroundings free of standing water

When children understand, families are stronger—and communities are safer.

Small bite. Big impact.
Now We Can. Now We Must.

🌍 World Malaria Day 2026 | Now We Can. Now We Must.

A single mosquito bite can change everything.

Malaria continues to affect millions—especially across Africa. But the good news is: it’s preventable.

At Barrick, we’re seeing real progress.
From 2023 to 2025, malaria incidence across our AME operations decreased by 52%.

That’s what action looks like.

But we’re not done.

This World Malaria Day, we’re working alongside our employees and communities—sharing knowledge, and reinforcing simple actions that save lives.

✔ Use mosquito repellent
✔ Sleep under a mosquito net
✔ Test early if you feel sick
✔ Support community spraying efforts

Because protecting our people at work also protects families at home.

Small bite. Big impact.
Let’s keep going—together.
