WHERE DOES HONEY COME FROM?
Honey is made by bees.The way these honeybees work is wonderful and interesting.

1.The honeybees travel a thousand of miles to collect nectar in quantities sufficient to make honey.

2.These bees use their tongues to suck nectar out of the flowers and store it in their honey stomachs.

3.The honeybees that remain in the hive then chew the nectar for about 30 minutes.This form of nectar is then spread throughout the honeycomb to allow the remaining water to evaporate from it.In order to accelerate the drying process, the worker bees fan their wings.

4.When the nectar dries, it becomes honey.Honey contains lots of nutrients including sugars such as fructose and glucose, vitamins, amino acids and so much more.
