Ohhhh… it’s been a minute!
(Is this still what the kids say, or is it already so 2025? 🤔)
If you’ve travelled by ferry from Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam, you might have noticed our beautiful benches in the departures hall at Malindi Port — and yes, that’s what’s been keeping us busy!
Each bench is made up of around 130 slats, and every single slat contains about 100 recycled bottle caps.
As of today, there are 12 benches installed, made from an incredible 156,000 bottle caps — with more benches still to come.
Pretty cool what a lot of small caps can turn into, right? 🌍♻️
