Gentlemen, meet “Anna from Kharkiv.”

Or at least, that is what the profile claimed.

One dating site said she had two children. Another said she had none. She wanted to come to America. She needed help. Beautiful photos, soft story, just enough confusion to keep a man curious.

Classic.

Our verification found something better: this “Anna” does not exist.

The woman in these photos is AI-generated. The visual base appears to come from a real model from Denmark, but the dating profile itself is fake. No real Ukrainian woman. No real “Anna from Kharkiv.” Just pixels, fantasy, and a trap with good lighting.

This is the new era of romance scams.

Scammers no longer need to steal one woman’s photos and reuse them for ten years. Now they can create endless perfect blondes, brunettes, “Ukrainian girls,” “Russian girls,” “single mothers,” “no children,” “wants America,” “needs help” — whatever story works best on you.

Pretty photos are no longer proof of anything.

Because apparently regular lies are no longer enough. Now scammers need a digital bomb shelter, a tragic face, and a fake “I am scared, please help me” storyline to reach directly into your wallet.

And the best part?

She is not even Ukrainian.

Behind this touching little Hollywood production is a Russian scammer who, as far as we know, has never been in Ukraine, never sat in that bomb shelter, and probably knows more about draining Western men’s bank accounts than surviving air raids.

So before you send money for “food,” “documents,” “travel,” “medicine,” “passport,” “visa,” “evacuation,” or whatever fresh fairy tale arrives next — stop.

Pretty face? Nice.
Sad story? Classic.
AI bomb shelter? Chef’s kiss.
Your money leaving your account? That’s the part where the joke is on you.

This is Olena Zakharova — reported by another victim from UkraineDate. The story moved to WhatsApp, then came the usual travel drama: food money, bus ticket, plane ticket, Warsaw, Bergen… and, surprise, no airport arrival.

Gentlemen, beauty is not verification. A shared location, cute video, and sweet words are not proof she is real.

This is not love. This is a scam.

In this case, the photos were AI-generated. The “woman” in the pictures does not actually exist.

A beautiful Asian girl. Perfect lifestyle. Expensive clothes. Restaurants. Cars. Airplanes. Luxury settings. Everything looks too good to be true — because it is.

We have seen this pattern before.

This type of scam is often connected to crypto and fake investment platforms. First, the scammer builds romantic trust. Then the conversation slowly moves to investments, crypto, trading platforms, profits, funding an account, taxes, fees, or “unlocking” money.

This is known as a pig butchering scam.

Never send money to someone you met online.
Never invest through a platform recommended by a romantic contact.
Never trust perfect photos and emotional promises without verification.

She said her U.S. visa could not be approved until she paid off an old $3,000 loan.

The man had known her for more than three years. Their communication started on OnlyFans and later moved to Telegram. Over time, the story became more emotional: rent, hospital bills, school expenses, visa problems, and finally a fake loan debt that allegedly blocked her trip to the United States.

By the time he contacted us, he had already sent around $5,000.

This is a common pattern in OnlyFans romance scams: the woman builds trust through private messages, photos, and daily attention, then creates one financial emergency after another.

Romance scams do not always look obvious.

This case involves a man using the name Oleg Ostrovenko. He claimed to be from Kazakhstan, built trust through emotional messages, and later asked for money using different stories: travel, documents, family problems, and even a serious medical emergency.

The victim reported payments of several thousand dollars and multiple warning signs: fake documents, urgent requests, emotional pressure, and communication moved away from the dating platform.

This case is now added to our Black List so other people can recognize the pattern before sending money.
