"Aksa plans to finance, develop, install and operate a 260 MW combined cycle gas power plant in the agreed-upon area of Izmail," said Serdar Nishli, the company's vice president.
The regional state administration added that the south-west of Odessa region is largely energy dependent on the Republic of Moldova. This happened as a result of the distribution of energy systems of the former Soviet republics.
