The Certified Internet Web Professional (CIW) education program was created by a community of Web designers and developers in the late 1990s. The company that currently owns CIW, Certification Partners, offers books, on-line learning and high-stakes exams. Third-party companies also sell CIW preparation material. The CIW program claims that each of their certifications are created from objectives suggested by experts who participate in an advisory council. These objectives are said to outline specific job skills, with the accompanying training that profiles both proprietary and free and open source software.
The owners of CIW state that the education they provide is "vendor neutral," because no one specific vendor is profiled. The idea is that instead of teaching specific applications, the program teaches more important skills. However, CIW's relevance has come under question in some circles. Because CIW was created during the "dot com" period, it and other certifications like it have fallen under criticism that they were created to simply cash in on IT certification. Nevertheless, CIW seems to have survived the dot com bust and various critiques to become the world's largest Web education certification program. Over 145,000 CIW certifications have been issued since 1997. This number represents roughly 120,000 individuals worldwide.Universities, community colleges and secondary schools from North America to EMEA, Japan and China currently use CIW. For example, the University of the West of Scotland uses CIW because it needs to base its programs on specific competencies and outcomes.
Of the several CIW certification paths, the most popular is Master CIW Designer, largely because it is updated the most often. This credential is given to anyone who passes the following three separate exams:

Foundations (which makes an individual a "CIW Associate")
Site Designer
E-Commerce Designer
Associate Design Specialist Master CIW Designer Certification is retired as of June 30, 2011. Certifications previously awarded in this program will remain valid. No further credentials will be issued.Several CIW tests, including "Web Design Specialist" and "Site Development Associate", are listed on the CompTIA Web & Mobile roadmap.

The Washington Football Team is a professional American football team based in the Washington metropolitan area. The team competes in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league's National Football Conference (NFC) East division. They joined the NFL in 1932 as the Boston Braves. In 1933, the name was changed to the Boston Redskins, with the team moving to Washington, D.C. in 1937. The Redskins name was retired in 2020, with the team taking on the temporarily branding of the Washington Football Team. Washington's first draft selection was Riley Smith, a blocking back from Alabama, in 1936.Every year in April, each NFL team seeks to add new players to its roster through a collegiate draft known as the NFL Draft. Teams are ranked in inverse order based on the previous season's record, with the worst record picking first, and the second worst picking second and so on. Teams have the option of trading away their picks to other teams for different picks, players, cash, or a combination thereof. Thus, it is not uncommon for a team's actual draft pick to differ from their assigned draft pick, or for a team to have extra or no draft picks in any round due to these trades.Washington have selected number one overall twice: Harry Gilmer and Ernie Davis. The team has also selected number two overall three times and number three overall five times. Washington have selected players from the University of Alabama four times, the University of Miami three times, and Penn State University three times. Four eventual Hall of Famers were selected by Washington in the first round: Sammy Baugh, Darrell Green, Art Monk, and Charley Taylor. Two first-round picks by the team have been named NFL Rookie of the Year: quarterback Robert Griffin III in 2012 and defensive end Chase Young in 2020.
Two Washington first-round draft picks have died during their football careers. The first was Ernie Davis, who was chosen as the first overall pick in 1962. After being traded to the Cleveland Browns for Bobby Mitchell and Leroy Jackson, Davis was diagnosed with leukemia and died before playing a game with the Browns. The other was Sean Taylor, who the team selected fifth overall in 2004 and who was fatally shot in November 2007.

Jhokwala is a village in Lodhran District of Pakistan's Punjab Province. It is located not far from Surma, north of the district headquarters of Lodhran.
The two main ethnic groups of the village are the Saraikis in the southern parts, and Muhajir Rajputs in the north. The village was originally known as Wasti Jhok Aala.CFUT-FM is a Canadian community radio station broadcasting in Shawinigan, Quebec. Launched in 2005, the station broadcasts a French language community radio format at 92.9 FM. The station is owned by La Radio Campus Communautaire Francophone de Shawinigan, Inc.

On January 6, 2011, the station applied to the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) to change frequencies from 91.1 MHz to 88.1 MHz, in order to provide a more quality signal to its listeners. On October 21, 2011, this application was denied by the CRTC, following interventions by CFOU-FM 89.1 MHz in Trois-Rivières, citing potential interference issues; and CHHO-FM 103.1 MHz in Louiseville, citing competition issues. The broadcasting group opted to relocate instead from 91.1 MHz to 92.9 MHz, in addition to increasing its effective radiated power (ERP) from 199 to 3,700 watts (with maximum ERP from 250 to 3,700 watts with an increase of EHAAT from 9.2 to 123.7 metres); and relocating its transmitter site from Shawinigan to Mont-Carmel, but was once again denied by the CRTC on May 9, 2013, citing concerns with CHHO-FM, as well as the station requesting too large of an upgrade. The commission approved a similar 2014 application to relocate the transmitter to Grand-Mère and increase power to 2,100 watts, which took effect in April 2016.
On February 1, 2021, the radio locale de Shawinigan became Country Pop 92.9.

Youssouf Bakayoko (born 19 April 1943) is a politician and diplomat from Cote d'Ivoire. He served in the Ivorian government as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 3 January 2006 to March 2010. Since 2010, he has been President of the Independent Electoral Commission (CEI), presiding over the 2010 presidential election.John P. Scott (c. June 12, 1933 – May 21, 2010) was an American Republican Party politician who served in the New Jersey Senate from 1992 to 1998 where he represented the 36th Legislative District, which covered Passaic and portions of southern Bergen County.
Scott was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He grew up in Jersey City and graduated from William L. Dickinson High School in June 1951. He graduated from Montclair State University before serving in the United States Army. During the 1980s, Scott served as chairman of the New Jersey Conservative Caucus. Scott was campaign manager for Arthur F. Jones in his 1986 bid to unseat Congressman Robert Torricelli.A resident of Lyndhurst, Scott was elected to the State Senate in 1991, when he defeated incumbent Gabriel Ambrosio in the wake of widespread voter dissatisfaction with then-Governor of New Jersey James Florio. The feared loss of state aid to local communities under the 1990 Quality Education Act also played a role in Scott's win. The two faced off again in 1993, with Scott winning re-election by a 53%-47% margin. While serving in the Senate, Scott pushed for the elimination of wasteful spending and was an advocate for smaller government. In 1993, Scott and Senator Louis F. Kosco co-sponsored legislation to impose a commuter tax on New York residents who worked in the Garden State based on their total family income, which Kosco described as "retaliatory legislation" on behalf of the 230,000 New Jersey residents who worked in New York and were assessed taxes by that state on their income.Scott lost his seat in November 1997 to Democrat Garry Furnari. Furnari won with 55% of the vote, taking the seat of what The New York Times described as "one of the most conservative Republicans in the Legislature".He worked for New Jersey Transit after leaving elected office. Scott and his wife moved to Dingman Township, Pike County, Pennsylvania in August 2001. There he was a founder of the Dingman Township Republican Club and served on the Pike County Republican Committee. He ran in May 2007 in the Republican Party primary for the part-time position of Pike County Auditor. While in Pennsylvania, he served as an advisor to the political campaigns of several Republican candidates.Scott died at age 76 on May 21, 2010.
