A source familiar with the certification process told the agency that most Sovcomflot vessels have already switched to IRClass through the Dubai division. The shipping industry, TradeWinds, also confirmed that much of Sovcomflot's international tanker fleet, declassified due to sanctions, had been transferred to IRClass in April and May.
Data from the IRClass website show that the company has certified more than 80 vessels operated by Dubai's SCF Management Services.
