WIP: Knitting up a pair of socks just for me in ’s Waterloo colourway—and wow, is it ever giving mermaid magic! 🧜♀️✨ I thought it was the perfect time to treat myself to a pair of Lady of the Sea socks (pattern available on Ravelry and rhyflowerknits.com). The colours are so majestic, it feels like they were dyed straight from the ocean depths. 🌊💙 Anyone else match their patterns to the vibe of the yarn?

A few months ago, I placed a huuuuuuuge yarn order at .de. When I received the package, these two balls of wool were included as a small gift.
8-ply sock wool from Järbo in the “Astrid Lindgren & Ilon Wikland” edition.
I had never knitted with 8-ply sock wool before, so I decided to give it a try.
And I have to say: with the thick wool, it went incredibly quickly. I knitted myself a pair of simple toe-up socks for evenings on the terrace during my upcoming vacation.
And I have enough yarn to make my husband a pair too.

＊ Design: Pattern: Yarn: everyday sock Color: Squirrel nutkin しほさんの初めてのパターン のテストニットに参加しています。 初めはセルフストライプの糸で編んでいたのですが、どうもいまいち合ってないな？？と思ったので例によって地味な感じになりました。何かを編んだ残りだと思うのですが、60gあったので余裕で足りるなと思ってCOしました。 片足編み上がってこんな感じ。ブロッキングはまだ。多分着画の方がわかりやすいので両足編み上がったら撮りますね。 見た目も編み方もシンプルなので量産したくなるやつですね！まさにスニーカーにぴったり👟カラーアレンジもしやすそう。 リリースは来月予定でフリーパターンですってよ！皆さまお楽しみに🫶 #編み物 #手編み #手編み靴下

Ein paar Geburtstagssocken. 🎁🎈🥳

Die Wolle ist von Opal und kommt aus dem Mai-Abo 2025. Um den Rapport nicht zu unterbrechen musste ich ein bisschen schneiden. Irgendwie war es mir dieses Mal wichtig den Farbverlauf einzuhalten. 🤓 Ich hatte seit langem mal wieder einen Knoten. 🫣 Aber der Zusammenschnitt hat gut geklappt. ☺️
