In April, Tedrowe Bonner and Marcia Amidon attended the Carpathian Sea Democracy Week conference in Truskavets, Ukraine. We took part in a wide range of panel discussions on the subject of democracy, and began building relationships with people from other countries. As the only Americans there, it was especially good to interact and engage in dialogue with people from other countries.

We have been privileged to work in Bilopillia, Ukraine, and to have met many wonderful people there. But because they are on the border of Russia, the residents have endured constant bombing and drone attacks, every day.
