On this day, in 1985, the first domain in the world was registered!

Today we celebrate an important date in the history of the Internet - the creation of the first domain name Symbolics .com in 1985. It was the beginning of a new digital age that changed the way we communicate, work and do business online.

💡 Interesting facts about domain names:
🔹 Symbolics .com is the first registered domain in the world, it belonged to a computer company.
🔹 In the 90s, domain names were free! But as the popularity of the Internet grew, registrars and domain fees appeared.
The most expensive domain in history is business .com. It was sold for $345 million in 2007!
🔹 The .ua domain appeared in 1992, and the first Ukrainian domain was chornobyl .ua.
