What’s a Stretched Ceiling?

A stretched ceiling is a panel structure fixed to a metal (aluminum) or plastic ceiling channel (a garnish molding) under the main ceiling.

Vinyl ceilings are made to individual dimensions and configurations of a room.

During installation, the stretched ceiling film is heated with gas guns to a temperature of 70 degrees, which softens it, and the film is stretched onto a pre-mounted ceiling channel.
