President Museveni's directives on containing Covid 19 have already started biting hard. This week Ero Business Hub recorded the lowest sales in the face to face customer category, since December 2020. It is a new form of self isolation in your own business premises.
I have also noted an upward trend in compliance levels as 99% of shops close by 7:00p.m. It might be interesting to establish whether this compliance is voluntary or the business community fears to pay the fines imposed if someone is found violating the covid 19 guidelines.
I am glad that I shifted some of the business services online. My challenge now is finding ways to deliver printed works across districts. My clients will have to wait for over a month except those using post office.
