Plastic waste is not only a Ugandan problem but a general problem to affect our dear planet.

This project is titled Recycling Mindset under CherishAid Foundation and in this project we hope to recycle more plastic waste into pavers and other building materials.

We started with pavers recycled from plastic waste and these pavers are three times more harder than pavers made of cement. But Since plastic destroys Mother Earth in so many ways , degredation most unrecycled plastic ends up in water bodies like lakes and rivers, killings lots of aquatic lives & reducing soil fertility.

Recycling plastic waste will enable proper waste management like reduction in litter that affect the environment. This project will also help engage the youths into productive empowerment skills and also a source of employment opportunities.
