SmartROC D65

Mineral Resources (MRL) is the first company in Australia to have the new generation SmartROC D65 drill rig up and running.

The updated SmartROC D65 has the intelligence and power to consistently and efficiently drill high-quality blast holes with accuracy and precision.

It is loaded with smart features such as automated drilling, rod handling and a new Auto Feed Fold feature.

The system’s Extra Long Feed (XLF) has come in handy at MRL’s Yilgarn operation, where it is used to drill 8 metre single pass holes and up to 13 metres with only one rod change, using 203mm and 229mm bits with an M7 hammer.
