We are writing to share an important update regarding how schools access the Magezi Harvest Software.
Since 2012, schools have paid an annual license fee to use our platform. In 2018, we moved to the cloud to offer each school a secure, unique workspace. This journey has culminated in a major business model shift effective April 2025.
🎉 Magezi Solutions Ltd will no longer charge schools for software licenses.
Instead, students and their parents/guardians will manage their own subscriptions directly through the system—at a highly affordable rate of less than $1 per term, per child.
This model aligns with our expanded focus on learner-centred digital content, personalised support tools, and future-ready e-learning powered by Artificial Intelligence. Schools will continue to enjoy full access to all platform features—without the cost.
We believe this new model benefits all stakeholders and enhances transparency and value in the educational process.
For schools that wish to assist parents with bulk subscriptions, that option remains available and we are ready to support any school interested in its implementation as one of the optional features in the software.
