Team spotlight!
Today, we are excited to introduce mwesigye hillary, a dedicated Sales Executive at Ecoplastile , whose journey is a testament to passion and purpose. Although the concepts of climate change, waste management, and eco-friendliness were familiar to him, it wasn’t until he discovered Ecoplastile’s innovative eco-tiles that these ideas truly resonated.
Hillary’s admiration for our mission led him to apply for the Sales Executive position, and we’ve been fortunate to have him on our team ever since.
A day in life:
The day starts early with morning devotion and preparations.
He’s on his motorbike, traveling from Gayaza to our Namanve factory and by 8:15am, Hillary arrives at the office, checks emails, and reviews his schedule.
A quick breakfast break before diving into tasks like responding to emails, updating the CRM system, and calling potential customers which also Includes client meetings, site visits, and preparing quotations.
Wrapping up tasks and preparing to leave by 5:30 pm.
Hillary’s role at Ecoplastile is more than just a job; it’s a calling that aligns perfectly with his personal interests and goals. He thrives on closing sales, generating revenue, and contributing to the company’s growth. His commitment has led to several key accomplishments, such as creating a well-organized CRM database, conducting site visits, optimizing production, and implementing effective marketing strategies.
But Hillary’s impact goes beyond sales. He’s a passionate advocate for the green agenda, promoting our eco-tiles and the importance of waste management at various events. His efforts have helped raise awareness about the environmental and economic benefits of our products, aligning with global sustainability goals.
Despite facing challenges like resistance to adopt to new innovations by the customers and stiff competition from the established brands in the roofing industry, Hillary remains optimistic about the future. He believes that with time, our eco-tiles will become the go-to roofing solution in the construction industry, contributing to a greener, more sustainable world.
