Day 2 of the Innovation Week in Burundi. Taking Participants through Problem & Solution exploration for their various projects.

On the Hacking Burundi Week Dialogue, our discussion was on how companies can leverage innovation as a growth strategy.

Great insights from the facilitators about the life span of companies going down from 67 to 10 years and how fast business models are expiring so there is great need to constantly innovate to survive.

We have launched the first ever Burundi Innovation Community Cluster Program (BICC) which aims at scaling innovation across Burundi as a strategic Vision to contribute to the growth of Burundis economy.
The project is designed in partnership with Bujahub as part of their vision 2025.

The cluster is built on a theme “Digitise Local industries” which covers Health,Agriculture ,Health and Tourism.
For the coming 5 -10 years we will be working with Government, Entrepreneurs,Global Capital Markets, Academias and Corporate companies to transform Burundi through regional and province innovation clusters that solve day to day challenges and create new growth industries.

We strongly believe that if all the stakeholders come together and support BICC they will create a competitive advantage for the Nation.
