Mechanised Agricultural Intensification Scheme (MAISOY) ENTERPRISE UGANDA LIMITED aims at increasing productivity in maize and soya bean enterprises through intensification of production and value addition chain management. MAISOY ideology was conceived ten years ago when it became apparent that agricultural productivity in Uganda would not improve inspite the many interventions by Government and
international organisation. The challenge was that the majority of the key players did not walk the talk of intensification of best practices needed in increasing productivity. MAISOY is here as an agri-tainment business company limited by shares to focus on individual households as the basis for promoting sustainable intensified mechanized commercial agricuture with high returns on investment. MAISOY in collaboration with researchers and research organisations and international farmers worldwide brings home the best practices of commercial maize, soya bean and coffee production in Uganda. MAISOY will uplift the competitive bargaining power of 10,000 households with over 3 hactares of land and other value-chain players in the maize, soya bean and coffee enterprises.
