Reverend Father Grimes, an British Jesuit priest, arrived in Uganda and joined the mission to transform a school that would produce leaders, thinkers and most important change makers. With limited resources but an unwavering determination, he single-handedly transformed Namasagali College. In the years that followed, Father Grimes dedicated his life to nurturing the intellectual and spiritual growth of his students, instilling in them a love of learning and a commitment to service.
His legacy lives on in the college's enduring spirit of thriving, regardless. Namasagali consistently ranked among the top academic institutions in Uganda, a testament to its rigorous curriculum, dedicated staff, and supportive learning environment. The college's vibrant alumni network is the only one in the world that extends far beyond Uganda's borders, with former students holding prominent positions in academia, business, government, and the arts.
