How do you use these baskets in your culture?
In mine, the baskets play quite a number of roles. They can be used for picking and keeping anything like fruits, herbs, foods, name it.
Some people hang them on the wall as fine decor, whilst some use them on events such as Kukyala (women's 1st introduction ceremony).
What is appealing about them is also the fact that they can assume different roles, sizes, designs and patterns...
I'm curious to know how you use them. And oh, these are made by our artisan Maama Antonio, in Sembabule District Uganda. We shall be publishing her story soon...
