Robert here, Team Leader at VFX Foundation (Uganda -Africa) a local organization dedicated to empowering vulnerable children in our community.
We're writing to you about Sarah Nankinga, a 19-year-old orphan who's been under our care. Born with disabilities, Sarah lives with her aging grandmother in a humble home. Despite her challenges, she's determined to build a better life.
Sarah's story is one of resilience. She dreams of education, independence, and a life free from hardship. But her worn-out wheelchair and limited access to medical care hold her back.
We're launching a fundraiser to:
- Replace her wheelchair with a sturdy, customized model
- Cover medical and physiotherapy expenses
- Upgrade her home for better accessibility
- Support her grandmother with daily living costs
