Reading with passion can be a motivator in life.

It is crucial to know your purpose in reading as it helps you focus your attention on important aspects of the reading material. Before turning those pages, take a moment first to reflect and clarify what your goal really is.

The ability to read is a powerful tool, but a passion for reading is an even more powerful quality. We develop our passion for reading at the earliest of ages. When we are young children, our parents or the adults in our lives read to us.

From our past experiences, you realize that the literature you heard, rather than read, as a child resonates again and again in your memory whenever you sit down to write. It’s the sounds you remember rather than the sight of the words. Of course, silent reading also fills our storehouses, but it is an immediate treat to be read aloud to, especially when the reader reads in a lively manner, enthusiastically, using his or her voice expressively to paint vivid pictures in our imagination.

As we advance through school, reading becomes a requirement with rules and restrictions. These restrictions were not present in our early childhood when the passion first sprouted in our minds. And unfortunately, it is not until adulthood when a lucky few can finally break free and enjoy reading again but now aiming at becoming superlearners since passion will be playing its part.

It might come as a surprise, but in today's fast-paced, information-driven society, the only skill that really matters is the ability to learn quickly and effectively.

Well, simply put, because if you can learn quickly, you can achieve pretty much anything you set your mind to. From getting that promotion you've been eyeing, to picking up a new language or excelling on that job interview you prepared for... Even improving your social and leadership skills! It all starts with that passion or ego that drives your motives to be a better figure in your life journeys.

How many times have you promised yourself to read more but just never found enough time? If only you could do it quickly and more efficiently it will later seem interesting and exciting to give you morale and rythm to continue reading even more.

Why people are rejected to funding!!

To often it comes down to a simple lack of preparation. Not preparing an adequate plan, not taking time to really understand your market, competitors, your own positioning and not researching about the funder you are approaching to ensure their mandate aligns with your entity.

So many people tend to outsource their business plans. How do you run your business if someone else does the plan for you. Getting funding requires patience and alot of necessary legwork.

People want the money, but they are not willing to do the work to get it and that’s often their first problem. Success takes time. It takes hardwork. And it takes a willingness to patiently and systematically follow a growth path. In other words, success begins in mind.

If you can show you're a planner who is willing to go the distance, you are already ahead of the game.

You need to leave your ego at your door.

Passion is great but, but be careful about being too internally focused. If you spend to much time celebrating your business idea and your own cleverness, you won't focus on how to access your market. Who is going to buy what you are selling?

Understand that you have a market you are serving, and that is the single most might lack. The reality is that no one has all the skills and experiences necessary to build a robust and sustainable business. The best businesses are built by teams who compliment each other. If you can leave your ego behind and find someone who have a stake and help you scale your business, you are already well on the path to success.

Partnerships go beyond finance however, they are also about skills, support and mentorship. The stronger your networks and support syatems, the higher your chances of success.

Often, the difference between success and failure is the right support at the right time. This isn't about waiting for someone to come and assist you though. It's about walking a journey with the right partners. This begins with accepting that you need assistance and being willing to continously learn and develop yourself with the business. If you can do that, and you have the patience to see your goals through, you will be successful.

While you are a fan of dreaming big and big, bold dreams, you can also be a fan of testing your dreams so that they really do help you in work and life.

You should be able to know all to well how the right dream can inspire you and lift you back up when you fall down.

You should also know how dreams can fade with time, and how over our life-time, we can lose sight of our dreams, or we can even forget how to dream.

Aim Big and Bold

According to John Maxwell, to test how realistic your dream is, you should ask the following questions:

Does your dream rely heavily on your greatest talents, do your current habits and practices contribute to the potential success of your dream, and is your dream likely to come true if you are unlucky, if important people ignore or oppose you, or if you encounter serious obstacles?

Do you have a written plan for how you intent to accomplish your dream, have you shared your plan with three people you respect for feedback, and have you made significant changes to your priorities and work habits to put your plan into action?

The trails we blaze, the memories we make, and the experiences we create, along with our legacy, are all part of why we pursue our dreams.

Aim big and bold.

Do Things You Can Sustain.

This is an approach that can be applied to nearly any goal, business or otherwise. Most people, however, tend to do the opposite and focus only on the lower bound.

An individual might say, “I want to lose at least 5 pounds this month.”
An entrepreneur might say, “I want to make at least 10 sales calls today.”
An artist might say, “I want to write at least 500 words today.”
A basketball player might say, “I want to make at least 50 free throws today.”

We tend to focus only on the lower bound: the minimum threshold we want to hit. And the implicit assumption is, “Hey, if you can do more than the minimum, go for it.”

But what would it look like if we added an upper bound to our goals and behaviors?
“I want to lose at least 5 pounds this month, but not more than 10.”
“I want to make at least 10 sales calls today, but not more than 20.”
“I want to write at least 500 words today, but not more than 1,500.”
“I want to make at least 50 free throws today, but not more than 100.”

In many areas of life, there is a magical zone of long-term growth: Pushing enough to make progress, but not so much that it is unsustainable.

The power of setting an upper limit is that it becomes easier for you to sustain your progress. And the power of sustaining your progress is that you end up blowing away everyone who chased success as quickly as possible.

Put another way: Average speed wins.
Do Things You Can Sustain

There is a very simple way to put this idea into practice: Let upper bound limits drive your behaviors in the beginning and then slowly increase your output.

Say you want to start working out. Most people would focus on the lower limit and say, “I have to start exercising for at least 45 minutes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.”

Instead, you could turn the problem upside down and say, “I am not allowed to exercise for more than 5 minutes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

By setting an incredibly easy upper limit, you make the process of getting started and sustaining your behavior much simpler. Once you establish the routine of doing your behavior over and over again, you can raise the limit as needed.

It is better to make small progress every day than to do as much as humanly possible in one day. Do things you can sustain.

Take an example of what is happening in Uganda today ..the crime rate is increasing like never before .The question is why now? The answer is lack of morals and love for each other as children of God .

'The rich don't sleep because the poor are awake ?! And less privileged don't sleep because they are hungry and their children can't access all the basic needs.'
We interviewed one senior citizen recently asking him who is responsible for this and in any case who should we consider righteous as the Young people. His response was "none " meaning that our trust as the people of this nation is GOD ALMIGHTY .

We don't mind what religion you believe but always kneel down on a daily basis and praise his name. Pray for all prayers are heard and answered by our God . If only people would turn back to God genuinely, then we shall experience change in our land .

Don't point fingers to those that are messing up our economy but instead study hard to save the future when your turn comes, be vigilant, train to be corrupt free ,move with the right crowd, avoid any kinds of addiction, have desired work ethics, adapt to the success ladders , seek to serve the poor and love UGANDA .For its you and me to save our country .

Being strong doesn’t mean that you close yourself off from others and act like you are better than them. It doesn’t mean that you force your beliefs down other people’s throats, or judge them for how they think. In fact, a strong woman is a woman who loves herself and her world and is therefore positive, loving, and self-assured.

See, this is the misconception about strong women: that they are difficult to love. But in all reality, it’s the complete opposite. Strong women are the best women to love. They are the women with fierce compassion. We know who they are and they are not afraid to embrace that. They love whole-heartedly because they love themselves. And they are not only looking to better themselves, but their partners, their worlds. If you’re a man that’s intimidated by a strong woman, perhaps it is because you know this woman will push you to be better, will make you see the world differently, will challenge you.
This is the misconception about strong women: that they are difficult to love.

The truth about being a strong woman is that the world sees you as a threat. You are just ‘too much,’ ‘too intimidating,’ too ‘jaded’ and ‘miserable’ and ‘bitter’. But you are none of those things. You are women with backbones. Women who aren’t afraid to be proud of yourselves in a world that might not always support you. Women who know the value of your vulnerability, your passion, your strength. And women who will fight any anonymous man who dares to say you should be any other way.

GOD reminds us more than once in His Word that growing older is an honor. “Gray hair is a glorious crown…” Proverbs 16:31 CSB. The more years we live, the more experiences we’re given to learn from, and the more wisdom and perspective we gain to see life in new and beautiful ways. When we see someone in their later years (or when we look in the mirror and it’s us!) let’s remember what a gift that is.

And while the media leads us to believe that the youth somehow have more value, the truth is, we are treasured by God at everyage. Not only that, but He gives us specific gifts to share with the world in every season of our lives.

Make Healthy Choices - While the human body is not intended to live forever, we can still honor our Creator by making choices that bring us health and strength each day. We are here at this time for a reason – let’s not miss the opportunities to help guide and encourage those around us!

Celebrate Life Every Day - Whether you’re celebrating your birthday or that of someone you love, remember that every day in every life matters. Don’t wait for a milestone to make it extra special. Look in the mirror and cherish your laugh lines; remember how they are created.

Let Your Values Drive Your Choices.

Nearly every problem you face is temporary. But these temporary problems cause immediate pain. And we often let this pain drive our choices and actions.

For example…

Someone who goes for an opportunity of a better job with a sustainable income but this person instead neglects back his long time dream to develop his infant stage company to see it progress at all levels.
An individual suffering from the pain of feeling unloved or unappreciated or misunderstood might try to resolve that pain by cheating on their spouse …and so on.

This is how you make choices you wouldn't normally make. When you let the problem drive your decisions, you make exceptions and “just this once” choices to resolve the pain, annoyance, or uncertainty that you're feeling in the moment.

How can we avoid this pitfall and make better long-term choices while still resolving short-term pain? One of the solutions is trying out to let your values drive your choices. That doesn't mean you ignore other aspects of your decision making process. You simply add your values into the mix. For example, if you are working on a problem in your business, rather than just asking, “Will this make money?” You can ask, “Is this in alignment with my values?” And then, “Will this make money?”If you say no to either, then you look for another option.

The idea behind this method is that if we live and work in alignment with our values, then we're more likely to live a life we are proud of rather than one we regret.

If you don’t know what you stand for and where you’re headed, then it’s far too easy to get off course, to waste your time doing something you don’t need to be doing, or to make an exception (“just this once”) that leads you down a dangerous path. There are brilliant men and women with decent hearts and families they care dearly about spending a long time in jail right now because they made business decisions that were based on the pain they felt and not the values they believed in.

Let your values drive your decisions.

Ask yourself these Questions and get the right Answers. They will trigger you to have a better mind set on how best to achieve value in all we do.
1)What excites you most?
2)What bothers you most?
3)What thrills you most?
At the end of the exercise, one must have had a conviction of their life purpose and it will be assigned like? God gave us gifts, Talents and Various potentials. Its upon you to walk the talk through practising what you received and thrive for the best.

Purpose is when you know and understand why you were born. And once you determine that, you will never merely exist again.'All achievement is but first a dream' walking the talk means Leaving to reach your Dream.

Time can neither be lost nor gifted but is easily squandered. My brother mind where you invest your Time. Time is your most valuable possession like currency, you can waste it or use it to acquire needed rations for your journey.

Just as the greatest of whales is helpless in the middle of the Desert, so is a might Elephant in the middle of the Ocean. Life is like a train journey, now and then you will need to change stations. Topography is critical to your future.

Walking the talk can only be expressed by practising what we think, what we know, what we are good at through endurance and faith that results into potential discovery.
Remember 'Creativity generates Options: Focus Discards Options.

BUILIDING HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS,

A relationship refers to a group of people who are friends sharing similar values and objectives. It's through relationships that our minds explore. The worth of one's network determines a lot on how far they may reach in terms of success! Have you taken time to treat and mould HEALTHY relations with the people around your day to day living?

Family should be the first character, once you're not well with the Spouse and other members at home ,the reason might be because of" Pride" . This leads to failure and improper communication that results into conflicts . Here are some tips we can use to maintain and grow healthy relationships.

1) Connecting
Untill you connect with your teammates/ friends you can't get the right information. Let your partners know what you are doing and its impact to the common goal you set as a group . Besides take charge to know what they are up to at a particular time. This will indicate that you care, love and show concern hence connecting always.

2) INVESTING in high quality time ..
Why should one concentrate on Social media while communicating or meeting up with comrades . This makes a relationship sickly ,once you accept to make some one your friend ,please pay attention to them and offer quality time.

3) Speaking words of life.
This is biblical as it is in Proverbs 18:20-21.,There's power in talking,always encourage friends .
Be positive minded and motivate them through your tongue , complement where it's due and never fail with them but instead Learn how to get to the next level.

4) Work.
All relationships are work in progress ,once you stop thinking and working on it ,you are bound to fail. Work on it on a daily basis, practice and act upon your planned goals and strategies on how to win big .This will keep a relationship healthy.

5) Enjoying the relationship/ have fun.
Work with our play.....This affects all types of relationships. Have time off and interact,Eat together,celebrate all kinds of occasions like Birthdays ,Luncheons among others.
Congulatulate your partners whenever they make any kind of achievement.

6) Forgiveness
Never let some issues go down on your wrath ,be a peace maker , be willing to forgive.
"Because when you lose your temper it's not the other person's issue but your own problem" Hellen Barnes.

This year should be different in terms of our relationships. Get off time and evaluate all your past relationships, reconcile and be open to more new relationships. Fight that Ego ,Pride,and accusing among other faults that may damage your networks.
