Alliance Week Business Garage.
In a groundbreaking collaboration, Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) and Crossline Management Solutions Ltd. teamed up on August 15, 2024, to host a Business Garage during the Alliance Week.
This dynamic event brought together entrepreneurs and innovators to foster growth, innovation, and social impact within the kabarole communities.
The Business Garage was mainly a Hub for Entrepreneurial and community empowerment and it was a success under the collective organization by SRHR and Crossline Management Solutions Ltd.
It served as a vibrant platform for entrepreneurs to showcase their ideas, receive mentorship, and Network. This interactive forum facilitated knowledge sharing, networking, and empowering participants to transform their business visions into reality.
Key Highlights:
1.Pitching Sessions.
The business pitching event held in Fort Portal provided a platform for local entrepreneurs to present their innovative business ideas to a panel and an audience of potential investors. The event aimed to foster entrepreneurial spirit, identify promising business ventures, and provide support to emerging businesses.
From about 48 registered Participants, over 20 innovators successfully pitched their ideas, Businge Godfrey with a bee keeping idea emerged best and Crossline Management Solutions Ltd awarded him with a significant sum of money towards his capital accumulation, CMSL also pledged to continue to provide him with Tax support, business development, financial literacy, and management skills free of charge for the next 2 years.
2. Capacity Building:
A team from Crossline conducted a training on marketing, financial literacy and Tax management.
Interactive workshops and training sessions enhanced participants' skills in business planning, financial literacy, marketing and Tax management.
Conclusion:
The Business Garage, a result of SRHR and Crossline Management Solutions Ltd.'s collaborative efforts, has set a new standard for entrepreneurial/Economic empowerment.
