CHURCH WITHOUT SPOT OR WRINKLE! 🤷🏻♂️
Jesus is coming back for that church. Preachers are preaching about it, many instruct men to be careful lest they have spots or wrinkles according to how they behave. But it comes out that no one matches as they live a life of, "God forgive me". Ok what if he comes when that day you didn't, "Kwenenya"(Confess your sins), Will u have wrinkles and be disqualified?
Colossians 1:22, "But now he has reconciled you by his physical body through death to present you holy, without blemish, and blameless before him"
No matter how man tried to have no wrinkles, he was himself a wrinkle and spot(Sin walking), what makes us think that now because we are saved, our carefulness can make us without spot? If salvation was by God's empowerment, so it's continuity must be of God. What makes the church be without wrinkle or spot?
In the scripture above, Jesus shed his blood, which cleanses our consciousness. Removing the mind of sin. And through his knowledge, we are renewed towards his mind. And Paul elaborates this in his goal 👇
We proclaim him by instructing and teaching all people with all wisdom *so that we may present every person mature in Christ.*
Colossians 1:28.
The maturity of Saints is having come to the knowledge of truth, being fully transformed. Remember what you know in your heart determines what you act
since he wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:4 NET
Men coming to the knowledge of truth. Jesus said, "When you know truth, it shall set you free". Until a man is renewed by this knowledge, no matter how careful, he will error. Because it's not about carefulness only, but mainly the knowledge in one's consciousness.
This knowledge is Spirit. In this, men's innerman is renewed to Jesus' statement," The devil has nothing in me".
The church without wrinkle or Spot, is not the working of men, rather the working of God In man.
Man's responsibility is to believe, allow the Spirit to kill and renew. A talk of death, you cannot kill your old man, it's the Spirit to do so. Thine task is to have openness, brokenness. At the end of it all, that's why God in these later days, he's multiplying knowledge. Don't get stuck in self-righteous, because tebikola.(doesn't work).
Finally this: Husbands, love your wives just as Christ loved the church and gave himself for her to sanctify her by cleansing her with the washing of the water by the word, so that he may present the church to himself as glorious – not having a stain or wrinkle, or any such blemish, but holy and blameless.
