When I started FAST HOUSEMAIDS AND CLEANERS, I didn't have a big office.
I didn't have expensive machines.
I didn't have thousands of followers.
I didn't even have enough money to advertise every day.
What I had was a dream.
A dream that one day people would know our name.
A dream that families would trust us with their homes.
A dream that our cleaning teams would transform homes and offices across Uganda.
A dream that unemployed men and women would find work through us and return home with hope.
But dreams are funny.
Everyone celebrates them only after they come true.
In the beginning, people laughed.
Some said, "Finding housemaids isn't a business."
Others said, "Cleaning? Anyone can do that."
Some even told me, "Go and find a real job."
Every word hurt.
What hurt even more was when people I trusted never believed in me.
There were days I posted on social media and received only a few likes.
Days when I waited for my phone to ring, but it stayed silent.
Clients promised to call back... but never did.
There were weeks when I spent more money travelling than I earned.
Many times I asked myself,
"Is this really worth it?"
I watched other businesses growing while I fought battles no one could see.
I smiled in public...
But many nights I prayed in silence.
I almost gave up.
More than once.
But every time I thought about quitting, I remembered why I started.
I wanted families to find honest, trustworthy housemaids.
I wanted homes and offices to enjoy professional cleaning services they could rely on.
I wanted hardworking people to find jobs.
I wanted to prove that no dream is too small.
So I woke up every morning and started again.
I answered every call with respect.
I treated every client as if they were my first.
I kept learning.
I kept improving.
I kept believing.
Then something changed.
One happy client referred another.
A family recommended us to friends.
A cleaning job led to another.
A housemaid found employment.
A cleaner earned money and paid school fees.
That's when I realized...
Success doesn't arrive with noise.
It comes quietly...
One customer.
One referral.
One opportunity.
One answered prayer at a time.
Today, we are still climbing.
We're not at the top yet.
But we're far from where we started.
