Food Safety Associates (FSA) Ltd is a private firm incorporated under the Companies Act (Caption 110 of the laws of Uganda) in March 2009. The core objective of its founding was and still remains to provide professional services in the fields of product safety, quality assurance and all forms of value addition including planning and management of safety and quality infrastructure. ciates Ltd, though a relatively young company, is building on more than 20 years of extensive experience of its founders in management and provision of technical support to several national, regional and international projects. These vast experiences were acquired through management, consultancy, research and training in the general quality infrastructure and SPS area, food safety, agriculture, agribusiness, SME development, values addition, internal and external trade covering policy and strategy development and operational capacity building. Within the period of its operations, Food Safety Associates Ltd has worked on several successes full long term projects and supported several enterprises to improve the hygiene, safety and quality of their products. More so, because of association with the company, the key staff of Food Safety Associates Ltd are continuously getting engaged with very success full national and regional projects most of which cover SPS, food safety, standards and quality infrastructure development and agro-food value chain management and related issues, which has accorded the company’s stakeholders with continuous stream of experience, knowledge and innovations on SPS, food safety, SMQT and value chain issues that impact positively the industry and governments in the region.
