We used Stories of Change, a qualitative model of program evaluation, to examine the process and impact of the RHRN program. We worked in association with the Netherlands based consulting firm, Global Research & Reporting.

Uganda's 'scientific elections' and female candidates

*Okono argues that political parties have not been deliberate in addressing gender issues arising out of internal party processes. Parties do not seem to take into consideration gender equality while selecting flag bearers. Take for example the case of Robert Kyagulanyi’s National Unity Platform (NUP). Except for the Kampala district woman MP, which is an affirmative action seat anyway, NUP has all its MP flag bearers in the city as male! This is in the area where majority residents – and therefore key stakeholders in the election process – are women.

Writing a good CV

In a pool of so many job applicants, how do you stand out as the best candidate for the job? Well, today many employers do not ask job applicants to attach academic certificates when applying for jobs at stage 1, but their application letter and CV. So, the CV stands between you and your next job. You see how a CV is important? Before your potential employer gets to see your first class degree certificate, they will your CV. One of our clients asked, "Should I sign my CV?" Signing or not signing really matters less unless the employer explicitly states you should; it's a peripheral matter. There are other important aspects you can't afford to ignore while writing your CV. We have enabled many land their dream opportunities. "I got the training in South Africa," a top banker wrote to us. "Thank you for working on my CV." Let's do it for you too.
