Dear Hon. Frank K Tumwebaze , PPDA Uganda, National Information Technology Authority - Uganda &, Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, Uganda, are in the final stages of developing an Electroninc Government Procurement System, (eGP). The envisaged system is an end-to-end process system and has incorporated all existing systems and scenarios.
Uganda National Roads Authority has been part of the 10 selected Procuring & Disposing Entities (PDEs)in the development and pilot phase of due for March 2020. It will be rolled out to Central Government PDEs by September 2020, and in July 2021 to Local Governments.
