d executing innovative solutions to public health challenges particularly in the field of HIV and AIDS, maternal, child health, and social development programs. MOD is positioned as a local, low-cost, and efficient contractor/implementing partner. Our interventions close the knowledge translation “DO-KNOW” gap in the public health market. Therefore, MOD cultivates a balanced public health and research ecosystem and builds partnerships with both private and public health institutions, professionals, and researchers to sustain its business and social impact. Our social purpose for Existence
Approximately 1.6 million people from rural communities of Africa continue to die from simple and preventable illnesses, such as Malaria, Tuberculosis, and HIV/AIDS. Unacceptably, 50% of children under five still die of pneumonia, diarrhea, measles . These could be prevented with timely access to appropriate and affordable, medicines, vaccines, and public health innovations. In most developing countries, the latest effective and affordable healthcare innovations are not reaching those who need them first. Typically, in Uganda, our observation is that there is a time lag of 5-10 years between discovery and application of health and medical innovations. Without timely access to universal health care coverage (UHC), Ugandans will continue to be susceptible to constantly emerging public health problems. Therefore, MOD is positioned as a local, low-cost, and efficient contractor/implementing partner to provide timely solutions to such emerging public health r. Our strategic goal is to contribute towards the realization of universal health care coverage among 750,000 people from under-served communities and sub-populations in Uganda
