Story time. Someone recently asked me why I sharpen knives. I told them I do it to “take the edge off.” It was a joke, but it’s also true. Outside of Cajun Edge, I work a full time job handling severe injury and fatality auto insurance claims - both in and out of litigation. I’ve seen a lot over the years. Cajun Edge takes me out of it and gives me the chance to also be good at something using my hands. I got into sharpening originally because I am a knife enthusiast myself and enjoy sharp knives, just like many of you.

Cajun Edge is not just a job or a side gig for me, it’s a hobby and a passion. And that is why you can always feel confident leaving your knives with me. If it’s not perfect, it’s not done. That’s the Cajun Edge Difference.

As a way of saying thank you, all Acadiana area law enforcement personnel, firefighters, EMT’s and other first responders are eligible for 1 free sharpening per year for their duty blade of choice. SOLD!!! Happy Friday! Today I have an extremely rare opportunity. This is a TRM Shadow in full titanium. Excellent condition. Only a few hundred of these were ever made. Made in Massachusetts, this is some of the finest titanium machining I have ever seen on a knife and represents the best of what American knife making has to offer. Ergonomically this is one of the most comfortable knives I have ever held, and I have held thousands. The action is smoother and tighter than any Benchmade and almost feels glassy. Anyone else have a wife that carries a blade? It didn’t happen overnight, but my wife appreciates the value of having a knife on her - especially a sharp one! Of course it had to be purple.
