Gibbs Farm

Gibbs Farm Welcome to the farm, or should I say welcome to the place where the freshest and the most tasteful peas and butter beans are grown.

Eric has grown produce for nearly 11 years. Every year as early Spring approaches, we look forward to placing the seeds in the ground; watering and nourishing the plants and watching Gods beauty unfold. God has blessed Eric and me with two beautiful girls! EllaGrace is 5 and she enjoys helping me grade the beans, as her little sister LizzyRae; which is 2 tires herself out while she is into every

thing. Here at Gibbs Farm we grow and harvest nearly 350 acres of this crop that will have your belly coming back for more! We look forward every year to meeting new smiling faces. We hope that once you enjoy a bowl full of these beans, you will want to return each season for some more! Come out and enjoy the smell of country and visit Gibbs Farm: “Where everyone is treated like family!” We have also added Pecans into the buisness this year!

The Faces Behind Myras at Gibbs Farm

Myras at Gibbs Farm is built on family, hard work, and a deep love for agriculture. Every part of this operation is hands-on, and every role truly matters. This isn’t just a business to us, it’s our livelihood, our legacy, and our way of serving the community we care about. My dad, Eric, is the one making sure the seeds get in the ground and the crops get harvested. From planting to coordinating harvest time, he works tirelessly so we can bring you some of the best peas and butterbeans in the South. My mom, Brooks, keeps everything moving behind the scenes. She oversees the packing house, keeps things organized, and makes sure every step runs smoothly. She’s the backbone of our family and a huge part of what keeps both our farm and our family strong. As for me, Ella Grace, I’ll be running Myras, and I truly cannot wait to welcome each of you. This store means so much to me because it carries forward the heart of our farm and honors the legacy behind the name. I’m excited to serve our customers, share our products, and continue building something special for our community. My sister Lizzy Rae, will be now running the farm store. She will be taking care of customers and keeping daily operations running smoothly. She is filling some big shoes and we are so proud of her. And for Cotton, he will be right where he belongs, on the tractor! He will be doing his part to keep the farm going. Every year as spring approaches, we look forward to putting those seeds in the ground, nurturing the crops, and watching God’s beauty unfold through each season. Farming teaches patience, faith, and gratitude, and we are incredibly thankful for the opportunity to share that harvest with you. From the field to the packing house to the store, this truly is a family effort. Thank you for supporting our farm, believing in what we do, and allowing us to help put food on your table. We can’t wait to welcome you to Myra’s at Gibbs Farm.

Five years ago, I lost my sweet mama, Myra, to pancreatic cancer. She was the heart of our family…full of grace, grit, and that quiet kind of strength that only comes from walking hand in hand with the Lord. When she passed, I promised myself I would find ways to keep her spirit alive not just in memory, but in the way I live and love every day.

Today, I’m beyond humbled to share that God has placed something beautiful in my hands…a chance to carry on her legacy in a new way. This coming March, Myra’s at Gibbs Farm will open its doors right here in Cordele, Georgia.

From the start, I’ve felt God’s fingerprints all over this. The timing, the space, the peace I’ve felt in my heart — it’s as if He whispered, “This one’s for her.”

Through the spring and summer, we’ll be offering fresh flowers, blooms grown with love and care, just like Mama tended to everything in her life. As the seasons change, we’ll transition into selling our fresh produce, and then in the fall, the farm will come alive with pumpkins, mums, and that cozy feeling of home that only autumn can bring.

This store isn’t just a business to me but it’s a tribute. A way to honor the woman who taught me to love simple beauty, to work with my hands, and to trust that God always has a purpose, even in our deepest grief.

I’m so thankful that the Lord continues to open doors I never imagined for myself and that I get to walk through them carrying her name above the door. Myra’s isn’t just my mama’s name and a retiring store front; it’s her spirit ,her love, her faith, her light living on.

So here’s to new beginnings, old roots, and the sweetest reminder that when God gives you something to steward, it’s never by accident. I can’t wait to welcome y’all to Myra’s this spring and share a little piece of her heart with every visitor who stops by. 💐
