Farmer Spotlight: Eric, Brooks, Ella Grace, Lizzy Rae, and Cotton Gibbs

At Gibbs Farm, farming is more than a business—it’s family, faith, hard work, and a way of serving the community they love. Every person plays an important role in carrying on the family’s legacy.

Eric works the fields from planting through harvest, bringing you some of the best peas and butterbeans in the South. Brooks keeps the packing house running smoothly and is a true backbone of both the farm and family.

At Myra’s at Gibbs Farm, Ella Grace helps carry forward the heart behind the Gibbs name by serving customers and sharing the family’s products. Lizzy Rae runs the farm store, caring for customers and keeping daily operations moving, while Cotton is right where he belongs—on the tractor!

From seed to harvest, packing house to store, Gibbs Farm is truly a family effort. Thank you, Gibbs Family, for all that you do to keep Georgia’s #1 industry strong!

A rare opportunity from Gibbs Farm!

We have a few steers getting ready to be processed, and for the first time in a while, we have a few halves and wholes that have not been claimed! This is very rare for us, so if you have ever considered purchasing a half or whole beef, now is your chance to jump on the opportunity!

Our cattle are raised right here on our family farm, grass fed and grain finished, and you’ll have the opportunity to choose how you would like your beef cut and packaged.

We know purchasing a half or whole beef can come with lots of questions, especially if it’s your first time. Please don’t hesitate to call! Call the store and ask to speak with me, Ella Grace, and I would love to walk you through the process and answer any questions you may have.

These will be first come, first served, and once they’re claimed, we cannot guarantee when we’ll have another opening!

Eastman customers: This Saturday will be our LAST DAY of the season! After Saturday, our Eastman location will be closed until next season, so be sure to come stock those freezers while you can.

I am so proud to say that I had some phenomenal high school and college kids helping me this season! ❤️ I truly could not have done it without each and every one of them.

They showed up, worked hard, and helped me through some of the busiest days of the summer. I am so thankful for the time we had together, the laughs, the long days, and all the memories we made along the way.

I’m going to miss having y’all around more than you know. As you head back to school and on to your next adventures, go do great things! Keep working hard, keep chasing your dreams, and always know how proud I am of you.
