Sometimes its the most seemingly meaningless details of a large project that give you the happiest customer.
As part of a much larger project, we installed a buried sump discharge line. During excavation, we discovered that the area consisted of a very thin layer of sod over gravel, making restoration a challenge from the start.
Due to changes in the project scope unrelated to the sump line, we ended up waiting on a third party per customer before the next job could proceed. Rather than leave the area unfinished or charge the customer for wait time, we chose to use time meaningfully to restore it with quality black dirt and leave it looking better than before.
The result was a win for everyone involved. We were able to keep moving during the busiest part of the season thus far, and the customer got their yard back in excellent condition without unnecessary delays or substantial added costs.
We believe in doing what's right for the customer, even when it's not the easiest option.
