As March comes to a close, we'd like to shine a spotlight on one of our esteemed colleagues in celebration of Women's History Month. Jen Hartland has been an integral part of DCI Solutions for nearly six years. Following in her mother’s footsteps, Jen ventured into the realm of Information Technology back in 1995. Inspired by her mother, who blazed trails as one of the pioneering female Business System Analysts at ICI, Jen embraced the field without hesitation. Over the years, she dedicated herself to mentoring the next generation of IT professionals, sharing her wealth of knowledge and experience.
After taking a break to focus on her stepchildren, Jen returned to the IT industry, specializing in networking. However, driven by her desire to further her expertise and career, Jen made the bold decision in her late 40s to pursue a degree in Information Security. Now, Jen proudly declares that she holds the best job imaginable. In her current role, she plays a crucial part in ensuring the security of our nation's networks by implementing and enforcing DoD and Army IT regulations.
