Butcher on the Bay opened on North Washington Street in Havre de Grace on September 30th, and the reviews came in fast. People are talking about steaks cooked perfectly and a room that feels warm and inviting from the moment you walk in. The next day we were back for the front door. It's white vinyl with the cleaver up top, the logos for the steakhouse and GoodSPOT W**e & Dessert Bar, and a full week of hours, finished off with "Til' the last cut."

Anyone walking down Washington Street now knows what's behind that door before they reach for the handle: a steak dinner, a glass of w**e, or both.

The Natural History Society of Maryland has spent nearly 100 years collecting Maryland's story, and on October 1 it officially became the Maryland Museum of Natural Sciences. A new name needed to go up on the building too, clean and readable from the street, in time for an unveiling with state and local officials watching.

We designed the lettering and installed it on the museum's front wall ahead of the ceremony. Now everyone who walks up those steps knows exactly where they are.

Short Haven at Cool Meadows Farm runs small, guided visits where you learn about their Highland cattle, get some dirt on your boots, and see what it means to actually live alongside the land, not just look at it from a fence line. Their words, and they're better than anything we'd have come up with on our own.

We built their new sign around that same idea. The cow front and center, since that's who does most of the introducing when you pull in.

Working land. Open gates. That's the whole philosophy in four words, and now it's on the sign too.

Logix Escape Room is expanding this October, and if you've walked past the storefront on Philadelphia Blvd lately, the windows already tell you what's coming. Rogue spy agents. A classroom you have to out-smart. A full trip back to the 90s. Every room built with a kid version and an adult version, so the same room plays differently depending on who's solving it.

We handled the window graphics across both storefronts, six themed posters that had to work as a set from across the parking lot and still hold their detail once you're standing at the glass.

Most people driving past 19 W. Bel Air Ave. in Aberdeen have probably eaten Top Nach's nachos before, just not in a building. Shane and Missy have been running the food truck around Harford County for four years, and this month that truck finally gets a home base on Main Street.

We got to put the logo on the front door, and a job like that comes with more pressure than it looks like from the outside. It's the first thing anyone sees before they ever taste a chip, so it has to say who they are before they say a word.

We're glad to be part of the run-up to opening day.

Bry's Lawn Care & Landscaping was building the stone entrance monument for Villa's at Severn Crest and needed the sign panel finished on a rush timeline. We ran it on 3/4" rigid PVC, sized to sit between the stone pillars they were setting.

Two panels, one large and one smaller, out the door fast enough to keep their install on schedule.

Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna's trailer came to us plain green. Whatever graphics it had before were already gone by the time we got it.

We wrapped both sides: photos from the build sites, a QR code, the phone number, and "build with us." It travels between sites in Harford and Cecil County, so it has to read fast, at a stoplight or across a parking lot.

Now it does.
