Little update on the tine rebuild and coloring on the Kansas mule deer. Facial finish work and final details on the tine happening tomorrow then he will be ready to go home.

SHOP UPDATES

I’ll be in Wichita and unavailable unless I spoke with you and made plans for pickup/drop off. Convention week is always so fun getting to catch up with other like minded, motivated taxidermists and learning new techniques to bring home to make your pieces that much better. As stated, unless I’ve spoken with you and made plans during this time for pickup up/drop off, I’ll be unavailable. If you have questions about your piece and haven’t received a “Hey Jim Tom, your bird/deer is getting mounted up tomorrow!” , that means your harvest is still dead in the freezer and hasn’t made its turn in the lineup quite yet. I’m excited to compete my first year here in Kansas as well as sit in on some seminars and learn new ways to make my work better for YOU.

With that being said, all 2024 whitetail are mounted and out the door! If you have a 2025/2026 bird in the shop, get ready for a phone call within the next few months. These deer have been fun to get through, but I’m so ready to get back to these birds! As always, think every single one of you for your overwhelming support in this career!
