CHRISTIAN COLTON BAKER, 29, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 15, 2025, where he was embraced by numerous family members who had gone before him. Family visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 18, at Adams-Graham Funeral Home. Celebration services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at Bethel Assembly Church, 101 Commercial Avenue in Anson. A private burial for immediate family members following the service.
Born April 20, 1995, in Abilene, C**t was a son of Gene and Paige (Livingston) Baker. C**t graduated from Anson High School in 2014 with a 3.65 GPA. During that time, he worked with his Father on the ranch, was the head lifeguard at the city pool, was a member of the Student Council and was selected as a First Team All-District football player.
Upon graduation, C**t attended Abilene Christian University. During this time, he developed a keen interest in Martial Arts which led him to win 13 World Titles. C**t worked and lived on his family ranch for the majority of his life and became an expert in animal husbandry. He was a vital part of Homestead Genetics success in the bucking bull industry. Throughout this time, C**tโs passion continued to be in security and personal protection. He worked for the Jones County Corrections Department, Securitas Security Services, Bluebonnet Detention Center as well as OSI Security. C**t found his dream job with Apex Tactical Security where he remained as an employee up to his passing.
During his security career, C**t was able to achieve the highest level of certification issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety. He also obtained his Level IV certification as a personal protection officer. C**t was a vital asset to the Apex team and became proficient with all types of weapons and safety procedures.
C**t accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and was baptized in 2000 at the First Baptist Church in Anson. Throughout his life, he remained committed to his faith and found comfort knowing he would be healed in his Heavenly home.
C**t was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents (Lonnie and Sue Livingston) and his paternal grandfather (Pete Baker).
C**t is survived by his parents, Gene and Paige Baker; a brother, Cade Baker; paternal grandmother (Suzie Baker). Other survivors include his uncle, Greg Baker (and wife, Donna); cousins, Jeffrey and Allison Baker; two aunts, Julie McCartney (and husband, Jason) and son Zane (wife Monica and child) and Lonna Slone (and husband, Tod); cousins, Ace Slone (and wife, Allie) and children as well as Kailey Leske (and husband, Martin) and children.
The family extends our gratitude to Dr. Hari Kalla at Texas Oncology, the UT Southwestern Hospital team and Hendrick Hospice Care.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Gene and Jerry Jones Hope Lodge of Dallas, Hendrick Hospice Care of Abilene , Jones County Sheriffs Department of Anson, or to the charity of your choice.
