Traditional commercial office space (for rent) is a massive monetary commitment:
💰Application fee, administrative fee, deposit
💰3 year lease contract (standard)
💰Occupancy permit
💰At least 1 year electricity contract (business electric comes with a contract)
💰At least 1 year renters insurance
💰Annual safety updates (varies based on industry) at min. Fire extinguisher(s) maintenance
💰Reliable internet
💰Office furniture, office supplies, printer (personal property tax on everything you own)
Optional:
💵 Signage
💵 Someone to be there when you’re not (receptionist/assistant)
💵 Onsite maintenance, cleaning, and technical support
💵 Hospitality Supplies (coffee, tea, water)
💵 Break room supplies (dish soap, sponges, appliances)
💵 Restroom Supplies (paper towels, hand soap, toilet paper, cleaning supplies)
