Meet CBWN Member, Angela!👑

“Faith has carried me through some of the hardest seasons of my life and led me to a purpose greater than myself. Through challenges, growth, and learning to trust the path in front of me, I’ve come to believe that even the smallest act of courage, kindness, or service can make a lasting impact in someone’s life and in our communities. My faith continues to guide how I lead, serve, and connect with others every day.

Today, I serve as a Grassroots Engagement Director with Concerned Veterans for America, where I work alongside volunteers and community members to advocate for veterans and all Americans. I’m passionate about building genuine relationships, creating opportunities for people to get involved, and helping others find their voice through grassroots advocacy. Whether through community events, volunteer engagement, or conversations that bring people together, I believe real change starts when everyday people choose to take action.

Outside of work, I’m a wife, mom, dog mom to Zeus and Bear, and someone who values faith, freedom, and community. I believe in showing up for people, encouraging others, and leaving every place a little better than I found it. My heart is rooted in service, connection, and helping others realize they are capable of making a difference too.”

God says, If I planted a dream in your heart, I also planned a way to achieve it. Trust Me.

The ache of waiting.
The fear that maybe you misheard.
The weight of doors that won't open.
The whisper that maybe you're not enough.

You've been carrying this dream for so long now, haven't you? It feels heavy some days — like a promise you're not sure you're worthy to receive. The path ahead looks impossible, blocked by obstacles you can't move and resources you don't have. Your heart pounds with both hope and terror because what if this beautiful thing inside you never comes to pass?

But here's what I know about the God who plants dreams: He doesn't give you a vision just to watch you fail. He doesn't stir your heart with possibility and then abandon you to figure it out alone. The same hands that placed this calling inside you have already been preparing the way forward, even when you can't see it yet.

Every delay has been developing your character. Every closed door has been redirecting your steps toward something better. Every moment of doubt has been an invitation to lean deeper into trust. He's not withholding your dream — He's perfecting the timing and preparing you to receive it well.

You may see impossible circumstances / He sees the perfect setup for His glory
You may see your own inadequacy / He sees the vessel He's been preparing
You may see a dream deferred / He sees a promise being fulfilled in His timing
