I'm sure many of you know this already, but if you plan on applying any of the new dicamba products for the Xtend soybean system, you must attend approved training sessions to get Auxin certification. Even if you aren't applying the products and/or using the Liberty system, it's still good to attend so you are as informed as possible. If you have any questions feel free to ask!

Other states are going above and beyond the new EPA requirements for 2018. Too bad Kansas won't do the same to protect their farmers!

Minnesota dicamba applications after June 20 and above 85°F. are prohibited in 2018.

Wow Monsanto is really trying to save face right now. They claim a 99% success rate...what kind of success were they measuring? Also claiming all problems were because of using unlabeled products and not following label restrictions. Well I know many farmers and applicators used the right products and applied correctly and still had issues. This is not just an Arkansas thing, this is an issue all across the Midwest. It needs to be addressed

Thursday Monsanto petitioned the Arkansas Plant Board to reject the Arkansas Dicamba Task Force’s recommendation to ban spraying dicamba products after April 15. The company says this ban and others passed by the state don’t stand on sound science and are influenced by bias.

A ban could hurt sales by Monsanto Co (MON.N) and DuPont which sell dicamba w**d killers and soybean seeds with Monsanto's dicamba-tolerant Xtend trait. BASF (BASFn.DE) also sells a dicamba herbicide. It is not yet known how damage attributed to the herbicides, used on Xtend soybeans and cotton
