Another successful bridge beam set completed by Hilts Crane Service!

Using our 240-ton Liebherr, our crew safely set three Hy-Span bridge beams in Grundy, VA.

This project came with its share of challenges:
• Keeping the road closure to an absolute minimum.
• Four counterweight trucks had to back approximately one mile to reach the crane—and repeat the trip to remove the weights.
• Maintaining safe clearances from overhead power lines.

Despite the logistical challenges, the job was completed safely and efficiently with a total on-site time of approximately 9 hours.

A great job by our operators, drivers, and crew for another successful lift done safely and professionally.
