The room at Mojo Thursday was loud in the best way. CertaPro Painters of the Main Line turned the evening into Businesses With a Heart, with local companies and friends raising money and awareness for causes that matter to the community, including breast cancer research through their Paint It Pink campaign. 🩷

We came for the conversation and left feeling good about the company we keep. Thanks for having us.

Started the morning at the Philadelphia100® CEO Breakfast at the Fox School of Business at Temple University.

The fireside chat with Jim Dever, Tad Brown, and Daniel Hilferty got into what fuels momentum when a company is growing fast and what leadership looks like when everything is changing at once. We left with a few ideas for our own team.

When Bill Evans was about 12 years old, his parents got him his first telescope. And though he struggled to see the stars through the Northeast Philly light pollution, he started to become interested in the cosmos. He ended up getting a better one later in his teens, and in recent years upgraded again to one with a sextant, allowing him to track planets, stars, etc. in the sky.

Bill absolutely loves the idea that photons are traveling through space, hitting his eyes at that exact moment as remnants of the past. Yet, in his career, he’s always looking forward.

Having become interested in both software development and broadcasting in high school, he studied both subjects at La Salle University. And while there, Bill met people who would eventually lead him to start his own company, Liberty Fox Technologies, 17 years ago.

He began as a software development firm and is now more of an AI enablement firm, helping companies identify where and how they can automate their workflows.

As a result, his schedule is often filled with meetings rivaling even the busiest individuals. However, he still keeps time for his hobbies - mainly hanging with his wife, flying in his Cessna plane, boating and exploring the world and galaxy in any way he can! Awesome hanging with you, !

What a night! Our 16th Charter Party is officially in the books, and honestly, we're still smiling about it. A huge thank you to everyone who came out, danced a little too close to the speakers, and made this one to remember. And a special shoutout for showing up for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation too, every raffle ticket last night went toward a cause that means a lot to our team. Sixteen years down. Here's to the people who make it worth celebrating! 🥂

Great morning at BCA yesterday with speaker Sandeep Swadia, who brought a real perspective on leadership and decision-making in a world where AI is moving faster than most of us can keep up with. His talk left us thinking about how we lead, how we handle setbacks, and how we stay grounded while everything around us evolves.

It was an amazing night at the hfco sponsored reception at the Founders Museum at Girard College. We had the chance to hear from speaker Sandeep Swadia, whose path from monk-in-training to MIT to tech CEO gives him a pretty unique lens on leadership and decision-making under pressure. Great conversations, a great venue, and a great reminder that the best insight often comes from unexpected places.
